1. In writing this day book entry i learned the types of writing that i like and dislike. This is important because it gave me an understanding to what types of writing that i am also good at. I discovered that when i am well prepared for a topic and am given lee way on what i am able to talk about, i do better in completing and doing well on that assignment. I also learned that i hate limited time and specific topics to write about. For example on AP tests and the SAT i did bad because i was stressing over the topic at hand.
2. This day book entry became important to me for my outlook in this English class. In ninth grade i received the worst grade ever on a paper and it changed my whole perspective on English. It taught me to not base the rest of my career as a student in this class off that one experience.
3. Literacy sponsors were the topic of this entry. I learned that literacy did in fact play an big and important role in what i learned as a student. The sponsors that we are exposed to depends on the area and background that we are from. This specific information was important because it justified the thought that I will not let my background and economic standing interfer with the information that I am given.
4. Donald Murray's forum posts taught me a lot on why readings have stuck with me and why i do place myself in the stories that i do read. All writing is Autobiographical has became important to the way that i view pieces of writing. It gave me a point of view that whatever i read will become apart of my memory and influence my future writing pieces.
5. Writing this short story gave me insight on a different way that I can write a paper. In this day book entry I explored a different outlook on writing. I took a point of view from someone other than the main character and i came up with what was a great story.

1. This day book entry made me think outside the box and i liked that. Any other day in class we will have instructions written for us on the board with what we have to write about. The thing that i liked about this assignment was that i was able to talk about writing i have done with the ins and outs.
2. This forum post made me really look at forum posts different. I was able to bring up experiences from my past and relate the Brandt article to my knowledge.
